______________________________DETAILED DESCRIPTION______________________________

At kilometer point 747 N611 (old road) and just over 6km of Besaya Corner is entering forwarding Somahoz, people united to Los Corrales de Buelna and barely distinguishable because of him. Nothing else take the detour is a restaurant called Fleming, going with him there is a detour across the Besaya by a bridge, which then passes under the railway line and leads to the neighborhood of San Andrés. A 500m approx. Step under the railroad tracks there is a turnoff to the right that you have to take and go for something less than 400m to find another road to the right, we will take up a sharp bend to the left. At that point, right, appears a narrow little path between two stone walls separating meadows and it is the beginning of the route. The car can be left anywhere near as not disturb the movement of agricultural machinery that frequents the place.

The little road crosses the stream immediately Tejeras, who will accompany us throughout the tour. It is a highly recommended route, where along the way, superbly maintained by mountain groups in the area, we go into the heart of a shady forest and fresh, with small waterfalls, mossy. It's unbelievable how close the traffic noise, the bustle and the business environment of Los Corrales de Buelna may have a place so hidden and serene as that. The route does nothing but follow the route of the trail, which goes into more and more at the head of the valley, through brañas and forest, crossing the stream several times and discovering charming spots. At the end of the same road ends and rises away from the river southward toward a nameless hill. There's a mountain retreat and passes a track that runs from northeast to southwest, with a branch to the south-west front of the shelter. This bifurcation is ours, which descends gently through meadows, and gorse brañas southward by a sunny face of a beautiful oak grove across the valley. Descends about 800m until reaching a track coming from the neighboring town of Bostronizo, from where you can access (by car) far. To lead the track go left (east), and a few meters appears sign indicating the church, amid a lovely grove, to the right.

The church (IX century) is interesting in that it is one of the two samples of Romanesque art in Cantabria. Stocking is a church, and it can recognize or intuit several influences: The few are the same decorative motifs adorning the churches in the kingdom asturleonés Alfonso III is handling lift on the same days, and confirming the integration of these territories in his kingdom from almost the beginning. Meanwhile, the stonework reminds us of the Visigothic churches with large blocks, it seems that one is seeing Melke Santa Maria, in Toledo. Definitely one of those places or to visit.

You can reach this place from Bostronizo drive is indicated and may be an option to leave a vehicle prior to end the route there. Although there are other options for the back (from the shelter, if we follow the trail that leads to reach the Northwest Quarter of San Miguel), we propose to return by the same road, through the forest ...

On site there is a wooden table where you can eat in the shade of huge oak trees.
