Very close to the collegiate and the highway there is a surprise tour of a comfortable beech forest track that rises smoothly to the higher parts of the Sierra de Hijar without ever getting too close to the summits. This is a walk unpretentious, simple and combined with any of the cultural tourism resources we propose in this website.

At kilometer 133 of the A67 is a Matamorosa exit, from there comes the CA-830 toward Suano. In the second round out the CA-284 toward Villaescusa, passing the village the road climbs towards Olea, but a little over 2km of Villaescusa, before a sharp bend to the right, there is a track on the right that is what we will continue on this short walk. In the left, across the road, there is a place to leave the car.

The walk is to follow the forest track, in excellent condition, as far as desired. The only objective is to walk through the beech forest, the views over the region of Campo, the sound of wind and birdsong. The atmosphere is serene and quiet, very little used.
